Today I switched to a different viscosity additive. There are various additives which serve to thicken the water and affect its surface tension, and which also affect the action of the drops when they collide. Each has different advantages and creates different effects.

The colour is fantastic, as with all of your images. It's so much fun to immerse myself in the image and imagine what it could be. I see an Alice in Wonderland style shelter under a psychedelic mushroom (qofcheez)

Oh how dainty! Love the purple and the blue rim on the umbrella.Would you have a link to a shot of your setup? Do you need just a small space for this? What lights do you use?

ReplyDeleteFor me it's more than an umbrella! It's a cabana roof at the beach and there is a pool and cocktails, and wonderful waiters with food too! This is so evocative!
